M4A’s Heartful Hands is a home repair program that serves seniors and people with disabilities with the greatest social or economic need. We are able to serve because of the dedication of our volunteers. Our volunteers are what make this program work! The donations we receive help us to purchase the materials needed and our volunteers supply the sweat and labor.

M4A prides itself on helping our clients stay in their homes as long as possible. We do this by helping with small/minor home repairs such as ramps, grab bars, and installing smoke detectors.

Our work cannot be done without YOU, our donors and volunteers. Together, we can “Improve Lives one Home at a Time”.

M4A will be conducting local community Town Hall events during February and March in Blount, Chilton, Shelby, St. Clair, and Walker counties. The purpose of the meetings is to get feedback from community members on the needs of older adults, people of all ages with disabilities, and their caregivers. The events are free to the public but registration is required. Those interested to attend can register by contacting Sharon Echols, M4A at (205) 670-5770 or sechols@m4a.org. Make your voice heard and attend a meeting in your local community!
